Here, you’ll enjoy maintenance-free living in beautifully designed homes, along with resort-inspired amenities, social opportunities, and wellness programs. The community also offers reassurance that additional support options, including a secure, memory-support neighborhood on campus, are available for continuity of care if needs change over time.

Bella Vida is located on 26.5 acres in the La Cantera area of San Antonio, Texas, just north of Loop 1604 off I‑10. The community overlooks the rolling hills of the Texas Hill Country and is conveniently near shopping, dining, entertainment, medical facilities, and resorts like La Cantera Resort & Spa and the Eilan Hotel and Spa, making it an ideal place to live, connect, and thrive.

Living Experience & Services
At Bella Vida, maintenance-free living means more time to enjoy what matters most. Our team handles exterior and interior home maintenance, landscaping, and common-area upkeep, so you can focus on an active, engaging lifestyle.
In addition, you can benefit from our Flexible Services program, a thoughtfully designed offering of convenience and hospitality-based services tailored to your needs. Your monthly service fee includes:
- 20 meals per month, per person
- Weekly housekeeping
- Local scheduled transportation
- Social, recreational, spiritual, educational, and wellness programming
- All utilities except phone, cable, and internet
- Home maintenance inside and outside
During your first 90 days, you’ll have the opportunity to experience a variety of services and discover what works best for your lifestyle. After that, you can continue customizing your services to match your preferences, without changing the amount of your monthly service fee.
Bella Vida’s Flexible Services Program gives you the freedom to choose the services that best fit your lifestyle. During your first 90 days, you can enjoy a suite of included services to see what works for you. After this period, you can customize your monthly services using points to adjust meals, housekeeping, transportation, wellness programs, and more—all with no change to your monthly service fee.
Empowered Living offers optional, personalized support services to help you with daily living tasks and maintain independence. Services are flexible and can be tailored to your needs, whether for a short-term situation, such as recovering from an illness, or for ongoing support.
These services are delivered to your independent living apartment or villa home.
Empowered Living services are billed separately based on usage. Certain discounts, like the Supportive Care Discount, can offset costs for ongoing support. Contact Bella Vida to schedule a personal visit and learn more details.
The Supportive Care Discount provides a $3,000 monthly credit per person for up to 24 months for ongoing personal care. This credit is applied toward the Monthly Service Fee in Independent Living (when services are provided by Empowered Living) or in Memory Support. With potential savings of up to $72,000 per person, or $144,000 per couple, the discount helps make future on-campus care more accessible and affordable.
Bella Vida’s Memory Support Neighborhood offers specialized care and additional support to those with memory or cognitive challenges. The neighborhood includes 16 private suites located near the villas and Independent Living residences. It provides expert cognitive care programming in a safe, secure environment, giving you and your family peace of mind.
Yes. Bella Vida is designed to simplify everyday living. Weekly housekeeping is included in your monthly services, and additional options are available through our Flexible Services program.
With the Flex Plan, you’ll receive monthly points that can be used to personalize services such as increased housekeeping, meal options, personal training, and more, giving you the flexibility to tailor your experience to your lifestyle.
Yes. Our main building is home to multiple dining venues featuring restaurant-style dining and welcoming social spaces where residents can gather, connect, and enjoy a variety of culinary experiences.
Yes. Local scheduled transportation is part of Bella Vida’s services program, making it easy to access nearby shopping, dining, and medical appointments. You can use your monthly Flex points to customize transportation services to your individual needs, offering added convenience and peace of mind.
Yes. At Bella Vida, your monthly service fee is designed to simplify everyday living and provide peace of mind. All essential utilities are included, with the exception of phone, cable, and internet, making it easy to enjoy a more seamless, maintenance-free lifestyle.

Just a short drive away, you’ll find full‑service medical facilities like Methodist Hospital Landmark, the University Hospital and St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital, offering general and specialty medical care. In addition, for urgent health needs or minor injuries, options nearby include walk‑in centers such as CareNow Urgent Care, Next Level Urgent Care | South Rim, and Full Spectrum Emergency Room and Urgent Care. Additional nearby healthcare support includes Kindred Hospital San Antonio for rehabilitation care.
