WHAT IS A CCRC?
At Bella Vida, we’re redefining the traditional CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community). For more than 60 years, Forefront Living has provided the best care at various stages of life. By embracing innovation and growth, we strive to improve and continue our mission of serving older adults in Texas. As a nonprofit, we’ve made it our mission to create an atmosphere where seniors can thrive. We’ve focused on design, programming, and community engagement. This creates a campus that empowers individuals with options that bring deeper meaning to every phase of life.
The Traditional CCRC Model
Traditionally, a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) offers different levels of support as your needs change. For example, independent living is often a straightforward choice. For many people, having community socialization, services, conveniences, and access to future care as needed, all with a maintenance-free lifestyle, different from living in your current home.
At Bella Vida, we believe in surrounding you with support that evolves gracefully as your needs change. Our goal is not only to enhance your quality of life but also to support and promote your independence.
Our Innovative Approach
Bella Vida’s extensive care offerings—anchored by the Care Concierge, Supportive Care Discount, specialized Memory Support, and on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapy services—are designed to promote independence, maintain dignity, and deliver confidence for the journey ahead. Overall, these elements work together to reduce the need to change homes when additional care is needed by providing personal care services in your residence.
Care Concierge:
Our Care Concierge helps you navigate available resources. We will connect you with Empowered Living, our exclusive provider of personal care services, when health needs arise. This signature service is available to all Independent Living Residents, offering personalized assistance without placing undue burden on fellow residents, family, or loved ones.
Supportive Care Discount:
At Bella Vida, residents who require ongoing personal care may be eligible for our Supportive Care Discount, a $3,000 monthly credit per person for up to 24 months. This discount is applied toward the Monthly Service Fee in Independent Living when services are provided by Empowered Living or toward the Monthly Service Fee in Memory Support. As a result, with potential savings of up to $72,000 per person (or $144,000 per couple), the Supportive Care Discount helps make future on-campus care more affordable.
Memory Support:
Should you need the additional services of a secure memory support neighborhood, you will have access to the best possible care here at Bella Vida. Our Memory Support Neighborhood contains 16 private suites, located adjacent to both the villas and the Independent Living residences. This specially designed neighborhood offers exceptional cognitive care programming in a safe and secure environment, providing you and your loved ones with peace of mind, personalized support, and opportunities to thrive.
