Recently, 54 future residents of Bella Vida (BV), Forefront Living’s newest community under construction in San Antonio, boarded a chartered bus to visit its DFW sister communities, Presbyterian Village North (PVN) and The Outlook at Windhaven (OAW), for a first-hand look at the type of vibrant senior living they can expect at BV. This was not a promotional excursion, but a purposeful journey. The BV residents self-funded aspects of the trip, like their hotel stay and select meals, reflecting their excitement and investment in joining the Forefront Living family!

At PVN, the group toured the grounds and common spaces and then joined PVN residents for a lively happy hour in the Sky Lounge. PVN resident David Driscoll offered a memorable toast to welcome the visitors and everyone enjoyed getting to know each other.

“I had the pleasure of meeting these VIPs during my time in San Antonio this past winter,” shared Heather Porch, PVN’s Director of Sales and Marketing. “It was wonderful seeing them again on my home turf of PVN! I hope this trip provided a small glimpse into what a Forefront Living community looks like and most importantly, allowed them to experience that culture from PVN’s residents and teammates who thoughtfully hosted them.”

The next day, the travelers headed to Plano to visit OAW, Forefront Living’s newest community. After a drive around the property, they were welcomed by Executive Director Kristen Jordan and heard from resident Joan Tormey about her personal experience customizing her OAW home. Everyone enjoyed a breakfast buffet with mimosas prepared by the talented OAW culinary team before touring common areas, model apartments and a Cottage.

“We were thrilled to host the VIPs from our sister property in San Antonio,” said Jennifer Campbell, Director of Marketing and Sales at OAW. “We enjoyed sharing our beautiful community and a wonderful meal with them. We know how helpful it can be to see a community in person, and we were glad to hear it made a difference for them.”

Before heading back home, the BV group made a final stop at Buc-ee’s. It was a fun and informative trip that gave future residents of BV a clear picture of life in a Forefront Living community.
