Texas-based nonprofit Forefront Living on July 7 announced plans to develop Bella Vida at La Cantera, an independent living community for senior citizens.

According to a news release, Bella Vida at La Cantera will be built across 21 acres north of Loop 1604 off I-10 in North San Antonio, near the Eilan Hotel and Spa and La Cantera Resort and Spa.

Once complete in 2026, Bella Vida will consist of 153 independent living apartment homes and 40 villas with attached garages, with floor plans ranging from 820 to 2,550 square feet.
