This 26.5-acre community, located just north of 1604 off I-10, near the Eilan Hotel and Spa and La Cantera Resort and Spa, will overlook the rolling hills of Texas Hill Country. Our team brings decades of experience in senior living and a genuine passion for serving our community. Meet the team that is ready to guide you to your new home at Bella Vida. 

Sally Casey

Sally Casey

Director of Sales and Marketing

Sally Casey is the Director of Sales and Marketing at Bella Vida. With several years of non-profit senior living experience, Sally brings a deep understanding of the industry to her role. Her passion for senior living dovetailed well following her long tenure in the hospitality industry. In fact, she’s traveled the world managing sales teams with Marriott and Sheraton. Then in 2020, Sally transitioned to senior living and became deeply engaged in the power of community and enhancing seniors’ lives. She is looking forward to showcasing service excellence and a sense of community at Bella Vida.

Jodi Biewen

Jodi Biewen

Senior Living Advisor

Jodi Biewen is a Senior Living Advisor at Bella Vida. With a wealth of experience in senior living, she absolutely can’t wait to share the Bella Vida community with seniors in San Antonio. What excites her the most is the customizable lifestyle, as well as the generous floor plans Bella Vida will offer. And her enthusiasm is infectious! She sees a real power in the difference of the nonprofit model offered by Forefront Living, the parent organization of Bella Vida. Originally from Minnesota, Jodi most recently relocated from North Carolina and is looking forward to being part of the staff dedicated to creating a sense of community among residents.

Senior Living Advisor

Tamara Stroike is a Senior Living Advisor at Bella Vida. With over 30 years of experience in senior living, she has seen it transform over time. Having served as an expert and resource for seniors navigating the complexities of healthcare and planning for joining a continuing care retirement community, Tamara has a servant-hearted approach. Throughout her career, she has opened over a dozen senior living communities around the country and is looking forward to being part of the long-term vision for Bella Vida. “Every chapter of your life can be what you want it to be,” noted Tamara. “In my experience, today’s seniors have changed. They have different tastes and diets, they are healthy and active, and they are often well-traveled. They also have different expectations of what a beautiful life means. That’s what is exciting about Bella Vida. Here we will meet – and exceed those expectations.”

Rose Harte

Community Ambassador

Rose Harte is the Community Ambassador for Bella Vida. She comes to us from her most recent career in real estate, which helped to form her deep understanding of San Antonio neighborhoods and traditions. Rose has been a volunteer and provided pro bono work for San Antonio nonprofits for 15 years. She is so passionate about helping others that she obtained a master’s degree in non-profit management from Our Lady of the Lake University. In her role, Rose represents Bella Vida to San Antonio and surrounding cities. She champions the effort to build partnerships, advocate for seniors, and enhance Bella Vida’s offerings and programs.

Nathan McArdle

Sales & Marketing Assistant

Nathan McArdle is the newest member of the Bella Vida team. He is a graduate of the UTSA Alverez College of Business and has a passion for creating a sense of community both online and off. In the past, he’s worked on both website design and social media campaigns. He has experience creating clear and accessible user experiences designed specifically for seniors. In his role, Nathan will manage social media, and events, and engage regularly with members of the Bella Vida community.

Rachel McGowan

Personalization/Move-In Coordinator

Rachel is the Move-in Coordinator at Bella Vida and your primary point of contact throughout the personalization and move-in process. She has more than a decade of experience in active adult communities and a strong background in nonprofit work. Her passion for creating meaningful connections and enhancing the lives of others is evident in everything she does. After spending over two years with The Outlook, she’s excited to join the Bella Vida team and contribute to the community’s opening and ongoing growth.
